BATTLE OF THE ALAMO
Commandancy of the The Alamo
The Alamo should be remembered as the place where the Mexican Army, under command of General Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna, stormed a mission defended by a band of heroic Texans fighting for liberty, freedom and their independence. In rooms where priests had prayed, bayonets clashed with Bowie Knives and swords. Musket and cannon fire tore into the Alamo walls. By dawn, all the Texan combatants lay dead. Their sacrifice, on March 6, 1836, would immortalize them as legends, and turn the Alamo grounds into Sacred Ground.
Texans, we have a problem. While most Texans are distracted by National Issues like Biden being pronounced the POTUS, his executive orders, and the back and fourth between AOC & the Republicans, Texas Democrat House Reps & Senators are filing a pleather of bills attacking our Texas History.
HB1186 was filed on Jan 19, 2021 by Democrat House Rep Rafael Anchia. The bill goes after a lot of monuments, portraits & buildings. In the bill section 443.01527 reads.....
REMOVAL OF CERTAIN ITEMS FROM PUBLIC DISPLAY. Not later than December 31, 2021, the board shall remove the following items from public display.
Section 2. Section 2165.251(a), Govermental Code, is amended to read as follows...
(a) The space in the old State Board of Insurance State
(D) House Rep Rafael Anchia's bill is bad enough by itself, but there is more bad news/work for TITFF.
House Bill 86 was filed November 9, 2020 by Jarvis Johnson. The bill is aimed at abolishing Texas's Confederate Heroes Day & making .
Also Democrat House Rep Shawn Thierry filed HB 219 on November 9, 2020 that tries to eliminate Texas Confederate Heroes Day as well. The bill reads.....
Also in the Senate, Democrat Senator Nathan Johnson filed SB 129 on November 9, 2020 that wants to eliminate Texas Confederate Heroes Day & creates the Women's Suffrage Day. This is the companion bill to the House Bills listed above filed by Jarvis Johnson & Shawn Thierry. If you would like to read the bill in its entirety you can do so on the black button below.
Texans, we have our work cut out for us. We have been on the phone and in Senator Creighton's office since Day 1 of the 87th Legislative Session asking him to hurry up and file the Monument Protection Bill. His office has ensured us the bill will be filed soon. We have worked with Senator Creighton on this bill since 2017 and we have no reason to doubt him. Things just take time. Next week (Feb 8th-12th) TITFF will be up and down the halls at the capitol. talking to Senators and House Reps trying to gather support for this bill, so we can put a end to the destruction/rewriting of our Texas history. Over the next 2 weeks TITFF will start our email/phone call push on Senators & House Reps, this is where you will be asked to do your part as a Texan and apply pressure to those that need it. (Keep an eye out on our social media pages). We will say this, if you don't email these House Reps & Senators, if you don't make those calls, and this bill doesn't pass, you will have no one to blame but yourself for the loss of our Texas History. So please be a stand up Texan and do what is right.
We do have a bit of good news to report as well. (R) House Rep Steve Allison has filed HB 446. He filed this bill on Nov 10, 2020. The reads......
Basically (R) Rep Steve Allison's bill increases the criminal penalty from $750-$150,000 if the property damaged or destroyed is a public monument for the offense of criminal mischief involving the damage or destruction of a public monument. This bill is great if the local PD's will arrest the person and the DA will prosecute them.
We hope this info was informative and we hope to see more of you get involved with TITFF so we can stop these History erasing bills and protect our history once and for all.
Since the founding of This Is Texas Freedom Force in 2017, we have made it clear that we are only concerned with Texas related issues. There's a million and 1 groups and organizations out there that deal with national politics and we weren't interested in doing that. Our belief is you take care of your home first and the national problems will solve themselves, after all, government at the local levels (state, county, city) effects your day to day life more than the federal government does. But first, let us introduce ourselves for those who do not know.
This Is Texas Freedom Force is a nonprofit organization that works on the preservation of Texas History and protects Texan's rights. Our motto is "Protectors of all things Texas". As stated above, we are a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2017. This Is Texas Freedom Force or TITFF is not a militia, we are not antigovernmental, we support law enforcement as long as they are upholding their oath and we call out the bad apples that break their oath. TITFF does not travel out of the great state of Texas, nor do we endorse or promote political candidates from any party. TITFF has no political party allegiance, we are not republicans nor are we democrats. We call out republican politicians just as much as we call out democrats. To us it's as simple as right & wrong. Most of us are constitutionalist and our allegiance is to liberty, freedom, the constitution (both the US & Texas Constitution), our God given rights and most of all Texas. It's what every patriotic Texan should be doing, to hell with political parties, because a republican can be just as wrong as a democrat. We praise a politician's agenda when they follow the constitution and we call them out when they go against the constitution. Basically there's good vs bad and even a politician that follows the constitution 99% of the time can be wrong on a issue. We the people are here to keep them in line.
TALK BEGINS ABOUT THE DC RALLY
On Jan 2, 2021, there was a lot of buzz on social media about Jan 6th rally in DC. The TITFF Board of Directors had received a lot of calls/text/private messages asking if TITFF was going to attend the rally. The members of the board didn't even have to convene & bring it up for a vote, the answer was NO. Our TITFF Bylaws state that we do not travel to other states, not only that but our TITFF Bylaws prevent us from endorsing or promoting candidates and the DC rally was considered a Trump rally. So on Jan 2, 2021 TITFF wrote a post telling our members that we would not be attending the DC rally to squash a lot of the extra and unnecessary phone calls. Not only that but the TITFF Board of Directors had a lot of prep work to do on several bills that we will be working on during the Texas 87th Legislative Session. So even if we wanted to attend the DC rally as individuals, not as a organization, we just didn't have the time to spare. So our members all knew we would not be attending the DC rally.
The DC rally happened on Jan 6, 2021 and TITFF watched it on OAN & Fox News, in our homes, thousands of miles away from DC, just like millions of other Americans did.
JAN 18, 2021
On Tuesday afternoon TITFF President Brandon & TITFF Director Ramon received a email from NBC Dallas Universal reporter Scott Friedman. The email read...
Hello Brandon & Ramon,
As you can imagine we were quite surprised to read this email. First off, we didn't recognize the name as a member, it wasn't somebody we have spoke to on social media or by phone. Shortly after the TITFF Board of Directors talked and we ran the name Guy Reffitt in our system to see if he was or wasn't a member. We learned that Guy Reffitt had joined TITFF in June 2020, but he hadn't attended any TITFF Meetings/events/functions he wasn't on our members social media page. So although he was a member on paper (paid his yearly dues), he never followed through and became a active member with TITFF, hints why we didn't know who he was. We ran some background checks on Guy Reffitt to see if there was anything we might have over looked while processing his membership in June of 2020, but everything came back clean, no red flags that would have caused us to deny him membership.
Shortly after 5pm TITFF President Brandon returned Scott Friedman's email via call. It's important to point out that Scott Friedman did update the article written about Guy Reffitt's arrest and he published exactly what was said...
Brandon, president of "This Is Texas Freedom Force" said Reffitt signed up to join the group in June 2020 but didn't go to any meetings or rallies.
The only thing reporter Scott Friedman left out is that TITFF did not attend the Jan 6th rally in DC and that we notified our members that we were not going. Maybe Guy Reffitt would have stayed home had he been active with TITFF and saw the message.
On to the FBI...
TITFF IS A EXTREMIST MILITIA GROUP, REALLY?!?!
The FBI really screwed up on this one, or they just didn't do their homework. As we stated at the beginning of this article, TITFF IS NOT A EXTREMIST MILITIA, in fact we are far from it. Just because DC FBI Special Agent Thomas B. Ryan see's a Texan with a firearm doesn't make that person a militia member. Just because DC FBI Special Agent Thomas B. Ryan see's a group of Texans carrying firearms doesn't make that group a militia. We got news for DC FBI Special Agent Thomas B. Ryan, we are in Texas, this isn't DC. According to a Feb 27, 2020 poll conducted by thoughtco.com, 725,368 Texans have a registered firearm. Of that 725,368 about 70% of those Texans carry a firearm on them or in their vehicles 24/7 365. We don't expect a DC resident to understand that though. What we do expect is that you tell the truth, specially a FBI Special Agent who works on The Safe Streets Task Force. Is that really too much to ask for?
According to DC's FBI Special Agent Thomas B. Ryan's affidavit in support of criminal complaint and arrest warrant, case number 1:21-mj-00091 the USA vs Guy Westley Reffitt, filed on 1/16/2021, section 18 says "On information and belief, the Texas Freedom Force is a militia extremist group." You can read the full affidavit on the link below....
So what evidence are you using to call TITFF a militia extremist group? It sure wasn't because we handed out over $8,000 in toys to kids in San Antonio during Christmas at the Alamo the past 3 years. It wasn't the $15,000 in goods/supplies/tools we delivered to Texas victims during Hurricane Harvey. It wasn't the 4 teams (150+ volunteers) in 2 cities working search and rescue, plucking people from water that was up to their roofs during Hurricane Harvey. It wasn't cooking 500 meals 3X a day to help feed Texans who were homeless during Hurricane Harvey. It wasn't the Navy Veteran's home we furnished with furniture when he was down on his luck. It wasn't the numerous pictures of us working with local law enforcement across the state including being the eyes and ears for border patrol. No, it was because we love our Texas history and a lot of our members carry a firearm while protecting those Texas Monuments from thugs & rioters who would otherwise vandalize or destroy those monuments if we were not there. We know your home state doesn't have as many precious historical statues, forts, missions & monuments as Texas does, but down here in Texas we have pride and we love our Texas history.
Those firearms are there for our safety & they are 100% legal. I bet if you were threatened to be shot on site by the BLM for showing up to speak at a city council meeting in support of keeping a historical monument, you'd carry a firearm too! If you had been threatened by Antifa, telling you they were going to glue razor blades to their shoes, dipped in human excrement, so when they kick you it gets infected, you'd carry a firearm too. If you had frozen water bottles, bricks and rocks hurled at you by the BLM, you'd carry a firearm too. We have had all of the above done to us. I'll say it again, we allow members of our organization who are legal to carry, to carry a firearm for their safety! Yet we are the ones who are labeled a militia extremist group by you DC FBI Special Agent. smdh!
We have proven time and time again that our members have self control & discipline while carrying those firearms in public. You don't see any accidental discharges happening at our rallies, no sir that would be the NFAC aka the liberals. You don't see TITFF smashing in business windows, setting fires to buildings and vehicles, looting stores of hard working Americans, no that would be the BLM & Antifa aka liberals. So don't call us a militia extremist group, oh and by the way, it This Is Texas Freedom Force not Texas Freedom Force. Even if Guy Reffitt committed these crimes you say he did, TITFF wasn't there, he acted on his own accord, so don't drag our name in the mud for no reason at all.
THE FAKE NEWS
Now that Special Agent Thomas B. Ryan mischaracterized TITFF we have other fake media outlets running with the story and printing their own mischaracterization of our organization. Yahoo news has reported that it was TITFF that stormed the capitol with Guy Reffitt. They overlooked one small detail, TITFF was over 3,000 miles away in Texas when this happened (Lord give us strength). Hell, Yahoo News couldn't even get our name right, they called us TFF, Texas Freedom Fighters, Texas Freedom Force, everything but our name. They also characterized us as only protecting Confederate Monuments which is false (for the record we fight to preserve all Texas History). If you can't get that small detail right, how can anyone trust the news you are putting out?
Now every liberal rag tag news agency is going to quote that as fact and add their own liberal spin to it. Next they will tell you we shot Kennedy. smh This is exactly why no one trust the media anymore. Somewhere along the lines the media stopped investigating the facts and just published whatever they thought would sell more news articles. It's truly a shame.
The last thing we will say is this, if Guy Reffitt threatened his family, if he attacked law enforcement, or if he was part of the mob that stormed the capitol, he will have his membership revoked. But we have to see some proof because we have already caught the FBI & the media in several lies. We here at TITFF do not condone any illegal activity. We are better than that and we expect our members to be better than that. We may not always have the most popular opinions, but we do things the right way and for a reason. If Guy Reffitt would have just been a active member, learned from us, listened to us, he might not of ever gone to DC and none of this would have happened. Instead we are left publishing the facts & dealing with these headaches.
So now you, the people of Texas & America, know the truth. It's not flashy , just the cold hard truth.
THE FOLLOWING IS A COMPILATION OF POST ON SATURDAY JAN 9, 2021 FROM PARLERS JOHN MATZE REGUARDING THE BIG TECH CENSORSHIP OF THE FREE SPEECH MEDIA PLATFORM
How to Help
1) Tuesday come back to Parler . Com OR use the side loaded version of android OR use your already installed versions of Parler. (or maybe we will be back on the stores )
2) Check your email and spam for messages from Parler
3) Call, write and email your congressman and senators and expose this anti-competitive behavior. On both sides of the isle.
4) Cancel your Amazon subscriptions and dump Apple. Google/android is not much better, but it will have to do until the Linux phones are finally ready.
5) DO NOT leave angry messages however DO complain politely to Amazon, Google, Apple via mail and via phone.
We should be operational with less then 12 hours of downtime after Amazon abruptly pulls our access. This is unprecedented.
Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.
We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.
This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.
We are the closest thing to competition Facebook or Twitter has seen in many years. I believe Amazon, Google, Apple worked together to try and ensure they don’t have competition.
They will NOT win! We are the worlds last hope for free speech and free information.
What they are doing is unprecedented, unfounded and absolutely disgusting. Shameful.
This is a battle against all of us. Liberals, conservatives, atheists, Christians, black, white, etc. They want to keep their monopoly over speech. They want us fighting. They don’t want us working together. They don’t want us working with each other, they want us hating one another.
Parley - brings two people with conflicting ideas together. Our mission is free speech, democracy and us the people having the power. The elite don’t want us to be free, they want hate division and power!
For us to win this fight we need everyone back on Parler Tuesday. By Monday at noon we will be fully operational again.
Apple will be banning Parler until we give up free speech, institute broad and invasive policies like Twitter and Facebook and we become a surveillance platform by pursuing guilt of those who use Parler before innocence.
They claim it is due to violence on the platform. The community disagrees as we hit number 1 on their store today. The same day “Hang Mike Pence”, a disgusting violent suggestion, was trending nationally on Twitter. Displaying the horrible double standard Apple and their big tech pack apply to the community.
Apple, a software monopoly, provides no alternatives to installing apps on your phone other then their store. We do not own our phones, Apple simply rents them to us. Apple, Google and the rest of the anti-competitive pack of big tech tyrants coordinate their moves and work together to stifle competition in the marketplace.
More details about our next plans coming soon as we have many options.
PRESERVATION FOR PRESERVATION'S SAKE
Many monuments are a link to the past. Even if very distant, they allow us to remember how far we have come as a species and they put our own lives into perspective. Take the Alamo for example.
It gives a tangible link to our past, reminds us that Texans have been around and doing quite impressive things for a very long time, and allows us to see first-hand where our ancestors fought. That leads us to the second point.
We can learn from our past and many people find Texas history interesting. The educational or entertainment value of actually visiting a piece of the past in infinitely greater than merely reading about it. There is also a second level to this.
Texas pride cannot be underestimated. The Alamo, mentioned earlier, is a key example. For many Texans, it reminds them when of the sacrifice made to achieve Liberty and Freedom. In La Porte, Texas, San Jacinto sits proudly next to the reflection pond reminding Texans of the time when Republic of Texas and why we even have a Texas today. Not all pride comes from military conquest, however. Take Spindletop Gusher in Beaumont, Texas for example.
Spindle Top played a huge role in the development of not only our state but the entire nation. Without it, many of the oil companies we know today wouldn't exsist (and gas prices would be through the roof!
TO NEVER FORGET
It's important to remember our history and learn from it. When we allow history to be forgotten, we forget not only where we came from but we also forget our values. In this modern era, where our understanding of the importance of history is virtually absolute. The pictures coming across our screens of statues being pushed over, stone carvings being hammered to oblivion, or symbols being spirited away to who knows where run the danger of imposing a form of cultural Alzheimer's on the arc of recorded history. Some of these artifacts, and their significance to the Texas story, are likely gone forever and we'll forget about them soon enough. Do you remember what the Travis Park Monument stood for? Do you remember the words on the monument? It was removed in 2017, less than 4 years ago. See our point?
The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history," wrote George Orwell. That applies not only to the troubled people of Iraq and Syria, but to us Texans as well as these vital "connectors" to our beginnings lie in ruins. As one archaeologist put it: "No history, no culture, no past."
Nothing else quite compares to this in the modern era. Groups like Black Lives Matters, Antifa & the liberal left, that can sever monument heads would give little thought to severing our connection to the past. They are like cancer cells -- disconnected, dangerous and clearly deadly. Something sinister awaits those who become better known for what they destroy than what they create.
History doesn't exclusively disappear through a sword, a bomb, or a mallet. It can as easily be brought about through a lack of attention to detail as it can through explosives. America is showing disturbing signs of neglect for values that once were sacred to how they worked.
Politically we have lost the art of respect and compromise, as rank partisanship severs every society it touches. Citizens are leaving the voting booth at the same time as politicians forego their commitment to authenticity. Even entire portions of government itself are disappearing through political gamesmanship and a destructive willingness to prefer the present over the future.
One only wishes we could be as horrified over such incremental obliteration as we are over the travesty of the actions of Antifa & the BLM. Around the world, history is under assault, through brutality, greed, or neglect. It will be tougher to correct our present course if we can't remember the road we took in the first place. We must protect our Texas History.
PROTECT TEXAS HISTORY
Since the founding of This Is Texas Freedom Force, we have been working on the preservation of Texas History. TITFF has traveled the great state of Texas, testified in 16 different City Halls, spoke at 8 different town halls meetings, physically stood armed at 13 different monuments, themed parade floats after our mission, spoke to hundreds of Texas politicians and testified in several hearings at the State Capitol, all in the name of protecting Texas History. During 2020 150 TITFF directors/members/supporters defended the Alamo against 4,000 Antifa/BLM rioters who threatened to burnt the Alamo to the ground. That same night several TITFF directors/members/supporters guarded the San Jacinto Monument, per law enforcements request, and foiled a plot by 7 individuals who had planned on spray painting the monument that night (all 7 went to jail). Also in 2020 TITFF won a 3 and a half year battle against the City of San Antonio & GLO and saved the Alamo Cenotaph from being moved/removed. All these incidents are great, but you don't win wars playing defense. In order to enact real safety for our Texas Monuments we must go on the offensive, and TITFF has & is doing that.
TITFF & OUR MONUMENT PROTECTION BILL
In 2017 TITFF teamed up with Senator Creighton to work on a Monument Protection Bill. TITFF & our rally attracting 1,500 armed Texans were mentioned in the 2017 bill. Unfortunately Governor Greg Abbott didn't put the bill in the Special Session. We learned a lot from 2017 and got ready to help pass our bill in 2019. In 2019 we tesified in 2 committee hearings and saw our bill passed to the Senate. Once on the Senate Floor Sen Creighton made our case to the Senate and the bill passed the Senate. The last step was the House. Unfortunately the House didn't bring our bill up to be voted on, so our bill died in the House. Once again TITFF learned from the experience and we will apply what we learned in 2021.
MONUMENT PROTECTION BILL 2021
In 2021 we have a great chance at seeing our bill become law. Since 2017 TITFF has used our time making allies in the Senate & the House, these friendlies will be voting to help pass the bill in the 87th Legislative Session. TITFF has also got the support of Texans across the state. Last but not least, we got some help from a unlikely source in 2020. See Antifa and the BLM have made our case for us on why Texas needs a Monument Protection Bill after they went on a rampage trying to destroy Texas Monuments across the state during the summer of 2020. There is nobody better to testify to this fact than the organization that stopped them from destroying several monuments across the state (TITFF). Since 2017 TITFF has been working towards this moment, the moment when we will see our bill passed & become law. Once passed these liberal City Councilmembers & Mayors will no longer be able to remove our beloved Texas Monuments. It will be a TEXAS SIZE VICTORY!!!

It's December 2020 and that means it's times to ramp up efforts for TITFF's 3rd Annual Alamo Christmas Celebration! This years date will be December 19, 2020, 6pm at the Alamo Christmas Tree in front of the Alamo.
According to a caption on a Dec 3, 1974, photo of a Christmas Tree going up, San Antonio's tradition of a Christmas Tree in Alamo Plaza can be traced back to the start of World War 1 in 1914, long before the Riverwalk existed or became the city's big magnet for yuletide celebration. This Is Texas Freedom Force (TITFF) uncovered another photo of a smaller Christmas Tree at the Alamo dated 1890, so the tradition has been around for a long time. For years HEB had donated a large 55ft Christmas Tree that was placed in Alamo Plaza where Texans & tourist alike could come and take their family Christmas photo at. It was a Texas tradition.
In 2017, San Antonio's District 1 City Councilman Roberto Trevino, decided to end that tradition without any say from Texans. This is the same councilman who led the effort to remove the Travis Park Monument in 2017 and he is the same councilman who attempted to move/remove the Alamo Cenotaph from the 1836 footprint. TITFF fought Trevino on the removal of both monuments and we were successful and stopping his push to move/remove the Alamo Cenotaph in 2020. Removing the big Christmas Tree in front of the Alamo was met with many angry Texans, not only from San Antonio, but from across the Lone Star State. TITFF couldn't believe that not only was he trying to destroy our Texas History, but now he wanted to destroy Texas's Christmas Tradition. We decided it was time for us to act and keep that tradition alive, so we volunteered to take a Christmas Tree to Alamo Plaza, invite Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Texas Santa, Mrs. Texas Claus, and their elf's out to take pictures with the people in Alamo Plaza by the Christmas Tree. At the same time, Texans began placing tiny Christmas Trees in front of the Alamo and leaving them as a sign that the people of Texas wanted our Alamo Christmas Tree. After much push back, HEB offered to place a smaller Christmas Tree in Alamo Plaza and Councilman Roberto Trevino caved to the pressure of Texans & their tradition, and allowed the smaller Christmas Tree to be put up.
TITFF went ahead and held their 1st Annual Alamo Christmas Tree Celebration in front of the Alamo in 2017. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Texas Santa, Mrs. Texas Claus and their elf's took pictures with Texans and tourist alike that year. Not only that but TITFF & Texans donated over $1,500 dollars for toys and Santa handed out toys to every child that came to take a picture at the Alamo. Santa's Elf's handed out cookies and milk to those waiting in line to see Santa, it was the start of a glorious new Texas tradition at the Alamo.
The Reason For The Celebration
The 1st Annual Alamo Christmas Tree Celebration brought joy and cheer to many Texans & tourist. Just the smiles alone of the kids and their families was enough to warm the hearts of the TITFF family and bring joy to their Christmas season. But there was one incident that put the celebration over the top. While Santa & Mrs. Claus were standing next to the Christmas Tree, TITFF Directors were out around the plaza asking children and their parents if they wanted a pic with Santa and a toy. 2017 TITFF Director Keri was walking the plaza when she saw a mother with her 4 kids (ages 2 years to 10 years old). She stopped and asked the kids "Do y'all want to get your picture taken with Santa in front of the Alamo? "You'll get a free toy!" The kids all shouted yes and began begging their mom to take them to go see Santa. The mother quietly asked the TITFF Director, so the kids couldn't hear "How much is it"? Director Keri told her, "It's free"! The mother began to tear up and cry. Director Keri gave her a hug and asked what was wrong. The mother began to tell Director Keri that 2017 had been tough on her because she was a single mom, lost her job, and was sad that she couldn't afford to take the kids to see Santa that year. She explained that the kids would only receive one present each and she had to do without just to ensure that the kids got that. The mother had been praying for some type of help and she was crying now because she felt that prayer had been answered. Director Keri gave her another hug and walked them over to Santa & Mrs. Claus. Santa was excited to see all the kids! Big Texas size smiles were seen on every one of the kid's face as they each took turns taking individual pics with Santa & then a group pic with mom and the kids with Santa. Each kid got a Christmas cookie and some milk and then Mrs. Claus reached into Santa's bag of presents and gave each one of the kids a toy. The true meaning of Christmas was captured in this moment that night in front of the Alamo. Not only were the kids and mother happy, but every TITFF volunteer smiled ear to ear as the night came to a close knowing they had helped make the Texas family's Christmas . It was so powerful TITFF decided to host the Alamo Christmas Tree Celebration every year.

The Alamo Christmas Tree
For 3.5 years now This Is Texas Freedom Force has been in a fight against the City of San Antonio (led by District 1 Councilman Roberto Trevino, Mayor Ron Nirenberg) & the GLO led by George P Bush including Alamo CEO Douglas McDonald. See Bush, Trevino, Nirenberg & McDonald wanted to move/remove the Alamo Cenotaph, the empty tomb of our Alamo Defenders, which sits in the exact center of the 1836 Alamo footprint.
The reasons to move this beautiful monument was mostly driven by money, a stepping stone to further their political careers & to rewrite history. Mayor Nirenberg was quoted in 2018 saying “We want to honor both sides” (meaning the tyrannical Mexican Army leader Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna). The Alamo CEO Douglas McDonald has been quoted in 2019 as saying “If the Alamo Defenders weren’t surrounded by the Mexican Army at the Alamo, they would have ran” (like cowards). Smh Councilman Trevino was quoted in 2020 saying several offensive comments like “My dad taught me as a child that the Alamo Defenders were nothing but drunks & they stole the land (Tejas) from Mexico”. He’s also was quoted saying “The 1836 Battle of the Alamo was a myth”. He was also quoted as saying “I want to Reimagine The Alamo to make it more inclusive to all ethnicities & heal the city of San Antonio”. Trevino ignores that fact that many of the names that are written on the Alamo Cenotaph are Tejanos. It wasn’t a bunch of white people fighting again Mexico, there were blacks, whites, Tejanos, Native Americans & other ethnicities that fought at the Battle of the Alamo. The Battle of the Alamo wasn’t fought over race, it was fought for liberty, freedom, our God given rights & Texas.
For 3.5 years This Is Texas Freedom Force (TITFF) attended hundreds of Alamo meetings from Alamo Citizens Advisory Meetings, Alamo Trust Meetings, Alamo City Council Meetings, Alamo Road Show Meetings & more. TITFF meet with countless politicians from city council members, senators, legislators, house members & State Reps trying to win over their support. TITFF coined the hashtag #NotOneInch that was spread across the Internet in Texas, the USA & even other countries. TITFF hosted over 50+ protest, rallies, marches, etc, trying to educate the public of what the GLO & the City of San Antonio had in-store for the Alamo if they got their way. TITFF built a 8ft by 5.6ft double sided three dimensional Alamo that we used as our center piece in parades across Texas handing out fliers telling Texans about the Reimagine The Alamo Plan & how they could help put a stop to the moving of the cenotaph. TITFF lobbied & helped get a plank put on the 2018 Republican Convention which said “Don’t move the Cenotaph”, it was voted on and passed unanimously. TITFF spent thousands of man hours at the Alamo Cenotaph passing out fliers telling Texans what the city & GLO wanted to do to the Alamo Cenotaph. We interviewed hundreds of tourist on their thoughts about moving the cenotaph, all thought it was ridiculous, not 1 person thought it was a good idea. TITFF lead email & phone drives to get the attention of Gov Abbott, LT Gov Dan Patrick, the Texas Historical Commission along with many other politicians for years. TITFF lobbied for & led the push for our Monument Protection Bill in 2017 & 2019 that not only would stop the Cenotaph from being removed, but it protected all historical monuments in Texas that were 40 years old or older. In 2020 TITFF promoted & pushed for Texans to yes on proposition 7 that said “Texans & protect & preserve all historical monuments, artifacts, buildings such as our beloved Alamo Cenotaph the Alamo, and should oppose of any reimagining of the Alamo site. Over 97.5% of conservative Texans voted to leave the Cenotaph Alone & don't move it. #NotOneInch Also in 2020 TITFF had to physically defend the Alamo from rioters & looters. 150 men & women took up arms and held the line in front of the Alamo Chapel as 4,000 BLM & Antifa looters & rioters threatened to burn the Alamo to the ground. This was the 3rd time TITFF had to physically stay over 24 hours at the Alamo, some getting some sleep on break at the foot of the Alamo Cenotaph. We were successful in our defense each time though.
Over the past 3.5 years there’s been a lot of discouraging results, a lot of frustration that the people of Texas where being ignored, and of course a lot of disbelief as verdicts from different committees handed down their verdicts. The San Antonio city council was the first blow the #NotOneInch movement when the councilmen voted 9-2 in favor of moving the cenotaph. The next blow came when the Alamo Citizen Advisory Committee voted to move the Alamo Cenotaph. TITFF President Brandon B & former TITFF Research Director Keri Hillyer were both thrown out of the meeting by Trevino for speaking directly to the committee and telling them they were not listening to the will of Texans. Then the HDRC voted to move the Alamo Cenotaph after hundreds testified to leave the Alamo Cenotaph alone. After each meetings vote the City of San Antonio would gloat & celebrate their win. After years of defeat and injustice handed down by politicians & boards who had been paid off or given sweet deals for their vote, many “patriots” who had stood shoulder to shoulder with us in battle, suddenly lost their appetite to fight for our history or just felt we would never win this battle & gave up. This broke our heart more than anything else, because we are Texans and NEVER SURRENDER NOR RETREAT is the creed a Texan lives by. Many forgot what our own Texas History has taught us, although we might lose a battle here & there, we live to fight another day & the war was far from over. TITFF stayed the course and continued to hold the line. We looked not only to God but Travis, Bowie, Crocket, Seguin & others to guide us in our never surrender nor retreat attitudes. We are Texans and giving up is not in our blood. We continued to fight to protect our beloved Cenotaph & finally our persistence paid off.
NEVER SURRENDER OR RETREAT
On Sept 22, 2020, the Texas Historical Commission listened to Texans speak for over 8 hours. Lt Gov Dan Patrick was the first to speak, he said that the project would dishonor the Alamo Defenders. TITFF Directors, Members, Supporters testified to the THC throughout the day saying the same common phrase....NOT ONE INCH!!! The poll the THC put out the week before the meeting ended up repeating exactly what Texans voted on for Prop 7. Two million Texans voted not to move the cenotaph on prop 7. On the THC’s poll it was over 29,000 Texans voted not to move the cenotaph while only a little over 1,200 people voted to move it. In the end the writing was on the wall, the Texas Historical Commission voted 12-2 to NOT MOVE THE ALAMO CENOTAPH!!! THE WILL OF TEXANS WAS HEARD & THE SPIRIT OF SACRIFICE AKA THE ALAMO CENOTAPH WILL CONTINUE TO STAND 60FT TALL HONORING OUR ALAMO DEFENDERS WHO GAVE IT ALL FOR TEXAS! #Victory

To tell the full story about TITFF's fight to save the Travis Park Monument, you have to go back a few years. In 2015, far left San Antonio D1 City Councilman Roberto Trevino (yes the same jackass that is pushing to remove/move the Alamo Cenotaph) proposed that the city of San Antonio remove the Travis Park Monument, because he felt it was racist. smh At the time Mayor Ivy Turner (a woman, democrat and black mayor) was in office and she wasn't having it. Mayor Turner told Roberto Trevino that she didn't believe that removing the monument was in best interest of San Antonio, so the proposal died before Trevino could bring it up for a vote. Councilman Trevino wasn't happy, but he placed his pet project on the back burner to be brought up at a later time.
The Travis Park Monument, a Confederate Monument, was the first public monument ever erected in the City of San Antonio (1896). The monument stood 40ft high, including a 8ft statue on top of a column and pedestal. Unlike many such confederate memorials, installed all over the South in the 1800's and early 1900's, the Travis Park Monument didn't commemorate a general or politician. It was a generic confederate soldier with rifle, the image in granite form. In one hand he held a rifle, the other hand pointed to the heavens. A Texas Star and a wreath was on the column and the phrase written on the monument said "Least We Forget, Our Confederate Dead". The idea of the monument was to remember all the veterans who fought in the civil war (on the confederate side). The figure was designed by Virginia Montgomery, the base was designed and built by Frank Teich) a quarry owner and sculpture.
In 2017, tyrant Ron Nirenberg had been elected as the Mayor of San Antonio, not only that but far left Cruz Shaw was elected as the District 2 City Councilman. District 1 City Councilman Roberto Trevino saw this as a chance to push his proposal once again to remove the Travis Park Monument, but he knew it wasn't going to be easy. See, since the Travis Park Monument had been erected, no one had ever complained about the monument. Trevino knew he was going to need reinforcements, so he enlisted the help of the San Antonio racist organization Black Lives Matter. Trevino asked the SABLM to throw a rally calling for the removal of the monument so that he would have some fire power when he brought his proposal in front of the mayor and the city council. The SABLM & SATX4 (another racist organization) held a protest, about 20 members stand in front of the Travis Park Monument holding a sign that read "Black Lives Matter". It was pathetic at best. In a city of 1.55 million people, one would think 20 people protesting over a monument wasn't going to go anywhere, unfortunately that all Roberto Trevino needed. Before the SABLM & SATX4 left the protest, one of their members threw a drink with red liquid on the monument, which is vandalism in Texas. This got our attention, and it was time to introduce TITFF to the SABLM, SATX4, Roberto Trevino, and the rest of the San Antonio City Council.
In late June 2017, TITFF started working on saving the Travis Park Monument. Everyday for about 4 weeks, TITFF had members on the ground inside Travis Park talking to and recording the responses of Texans & tourist that entered the park or just walked by. We asked people of all ages, all ethnicity backgrounds, "Does this monument offend you"? We couldn't find 1 person who was offended by the monument, in fact, the majority of people thought it was a monument of Lt Col Travis and not a confederate monument. Even after they learned it was a confederate monument, no one said it offended them. We felt we had enough ammo to take our case to the San Antonio City Council and get the proposal thrown out. Starting in mid to late July, TITFF took directors and members to the Citizens To Be Heard meetings to make our case. We played video recordings of the reactions of the people concerning the monument, we laid out historical significance why the monument should stay, we even took a poll we put out that showed over 90% of the people in San Antonio would rather see their tax dollars going to some good, rather than wasting it on removing a historical monument. We took Texans, of all ethnicities, to the offices of the councilmen and made our case face to face. Some listened, other councilmen (like Trevino) tried to argue with one of our TITFF members, who happens to be black and had over a dozen ancestors fight for the confederacy. He schooled the councilmen with facts and history, but Trevino still wanted to argue over feelings. smh Last but not least, TITFF scheduled a protest of our own. We figured if the SABLM & SATX4 can sway the councils opinion with 20 people, what would they do when we bring out hundreds of pro history Texans.
Work began on obtaining permits and getting our personal and equipment brought in for the rally. TITFF teamed up with SCV for the Save The Monument Rally which today is referred to as the "TITFF Travis Park Monument Rally". The City of San Antonio tried their best to stop us from having the rally. We applied for our permits (stage permit, MCU permit, noise permits & park permits) around July 7th. When speaking with the City of San Antonio about the permits, they would verbally tell us we had been approved, but they never had the paperwork ready. When we pressed them (towards the end of July) they would come up with new stuff for us to complete (fees, insurance, forms, etc.). Finally 9 days before the rally, we had our TITFF attorneys get involved. Our attorney laid into the City of San Antonio and told them "TITFF has done everything you have asked, paid every outrageous fee you've thrown their way, filled out every form you asked of them, got insurance, etc., either you approve this permit for the rally & give them the paperwork or TITFF will take the rally down the River Walk and shut it down and we'll file a lawsuit against the city". The next morning the City of San Antonio called us and told us we could pick up our paperwork. Amazing how an attorney can light a file under their bums. lol But the problems weren't 100% over yet. When we arrived the day of the rally, we saw that half of the park was fenced off, TITFF had rented the entire park out. We sent word to our attorney and carried on because we had to set up for the rally. Come to find out, the City of San Antonio had given half the park to SATX4 without them paying a dime. Roberto Trevino felt he couldn't have a bunch of Texans out there "Promoting Texas History" and "Saving the Monument" without bringing out his racist organizations SATX4 & SABLM. In the end, our attorneys saw to it that the City was forced to return some of the funds back to TITFF because they only allowed us the use of half the park.
Once the rally started TITFF & SCV outnumbered SATX4 & SABLM 20 to 1. Of course the opposition tried their usual far left tactics, they did a die in, they marched out into the street and blocked traffic, they got into fights with the cops, they chanted "Cops and Klan go hand in hand", you know, the usual bs. Meanwhile TITFF & SCV opened our rally up with Smoke preforming two of his pro confederate rap songs and we followed it with 9 great speakers who spoke about the importance of preserving and protecting our Texas History & Monuments. TITFF & SCV stayed inside our half of the park and were cool, calm and collective. At the end of the day 2 SATX4 members went to jail, while several SAPD officers approached a few TITFF Directors and thanked us for being professional & responsible. We left the park in better shape than we arrived. Things were just heating up though.
After the rally, we scheduled another event to attend San Antonio City Council Citizens To Be Heard the next week, but things heated up. By Friday after the rally SABLM & SATX4 had threatened to shoot 4 TITFF members if we showed up to the City Council meeting to speak on behalf of keeping the Travis Park Monument. The threats came in by phone call, Facebook post and Twitter postings. The SABLM & SATX4 thought they were going to silence us, scare us away from speaking the truth, but they obviously forgot we were Texans. The death threats were turned over to SAPD, DPS and the Texas Rangers, then we got ready for the council meeting just a few days away.
On Wednesday, August 16, 2017, members and directors of TITFF began walking to City Hall with a armed detail in full battle rattle surrounding them. As TITFF turned the corner, about a block away from City Hall, all you could see is media cameras and reporters who began running towards our team, taking pics and asking questions. TITFF President told the media we would talk to them after the council meeting. The security detail walked the TITFF members up to the door of City Hall, then they took position surrounding City Hall to protect the package inside.
Once the Council Meeting began, TITFF members began to rip D1 Councilman Roberto Trevino & D2 Councilman Cruz Shaw a new one. The TITFF members addressed the council on how the majority of the people inside San Antonio and in Texas did not approve of removing the Travis Park Monument, others scolded Trevino & Shaw for the division they have caused. TITFF President Brandon got up to speak and said," Do you guys see the problems you are causing? They're trying to silence me, which isn't going to work. What do you think about the death threats many of us have received? A lot of Texans are watching. We are prepared to move forward with a recall for you (Trevino) and you (Shaw) if need be, because we are not going to stand by and remove a monument which represents veterans, not race". The security detail outside had to deal with the media while the council meeting was going on. When asked "Why do y'all have guns?" one of the security guys told the reporter "Its necessary for us to carry weapons due to the let wing violence & death threats towards TITFF". Once the council meeting was over, the security detail picked up the package (TITFF Members inside) and escorted them back to the parking lot. Security did not see any BLM members or sympathizers. TITFF returned to City Hall again the following week to continue our fight to save the Travis Park Monument.
A CURVE BALL....
On August 23, 2017 Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast near Port Aransas, Tx. Not only did the hurricane hit Port Aransas, but now it was limping its way towards Houston, Tx. A lot of Texans were in need of some major help. On August 25, 2017 TITFF sent out 4 teams to helps our fellow Texans (3 to Houston and 1 to Port A). TITFF did everything from building our TITFF command post, search and rescue, open and ran a shelter, clean up work, to cooking 500 meals a day 3x a day, we even hitched a ride on National Guard chinook helo's to take the food out to stranded families. The Texas 3rd coast was a mess, and our teams stayed on the ground for weeks. Texans needed our help and we were there with everything we had. In all TITFF transported over $17,000 in goods and stocked the EMS triage in Port A thanks to a medical company donating the medical supplies to TITFF to transport.
While working to help our fellow Texan's on the 3rd Coast, we received some bad news on August 30, 2017. The City of San Antonio found out that TITFF was on the coast helping our fellow Texans and decided to take an emergency vote to remove the Travis Park Monument. They knew we wouldn't be there to foil their plan, so they voted to remove it. TITFF had a tough choice to make, leave our fellow Texans and come home to save the monument or stay put. The directors felt that we were needed more on the coast since bodies were still being plucked from the water and no one had electricity or water, so we stayed with our fellow Texans. The night of August 31/Sept 1st, the city of San Antonio had crews come out in the middle of the night and remove the Travis Park Monument. It was heart breaking for those of us on the coast. A important fact to remember is that TITFF donated more goods & worked more man hours helping our fellow Texans than the Mayor & City Council did. Its a bitter sweet ending that still bothers us to this day (even know we did the right thing).
TITFF has told the San Antonio City Council many times over the years, they were more concerned about removing a historical monument that stood over 100 years than they were about helping Texans. That should tell you everything you need to know about the San Antonio City Council.
Today the Travis Park Monument sits in a undisclosed basement collecting dusk that the tax payers are paying for (to store). In the removal process they broke the butt of the gun, the barrel of the gun, they jack hammered the base of the monument, and they destroyed a lot of the contents inside the time capsule that was buried underneath. Now, the City of San Antonio wants you to believe they can remove the Alamo Cenotaph (which is double the size of the Travis Park Monument) without any damage. smh We all know the truth, they intend to break it so it can never be displayed again. It's just par for the course for Nirenberg, Trevino and the San Antonio City Council. smh
Note- Cruz Shaw no longer sits on the City Council, TITFF is still working to remove Trevino & Nirenberg.
Enough with the "to wear or not to wear" thing! While Texans stay obsessed with masks the Leftists are playing us like a bad fiddle. They are imposing socialism upon America, Texas as well, while dividing our society and crippling our economy. Remember that Socialism is an economic system spread, like a disease, by political control. While the stay-at-home measures were initially implemented as a temporary fight to control the rapid spread of the coronavirus, they were quickly seized upon by the democrats (leftists, liberals, socialists, communists and general control freaks) as a perfect method to spread the socialist ideology nationwide while imposing actual control measures upon our entire society. Their sole purpose of resisting a return to work and business is to attempt to stall until November and hurt President Trump. Texans, if we let socialism prevail we will all go down. Make note of the antics of San Antonio's City Council and city management where they mandate what words THEY feel are hateful, attack TITFF members as racist and eliminated the Citizens To Be Heard meeting on Wednesday to stifle the concerns of citizens. They then constricted or attempted to control the topic for discussion at the Thursday City Hall meeting. Whereas the City named the topic as "construction related" everyone there spoke about the Mayor's bigoted comments, free speech and the Cenotaph anyway.
This is painfully seen everywhere and every day but particularly in the congested cities. In rural areas not so much because officials are more in tune with their citizens. The cities are the sites of most viral and bacterial disease infections and also the sites of most cases of the disease of socialism. This sudden imposition of radical control during a crisis came as a shock to most Americans but it should not have been! This Leftist disease of socialism has been pandemic for decades. It is very important that clear-thinking real Americans make it known who the villians are and who the pawns are.
The democrat party has morphed into the largest socialist organization in America with several upfront goals in mind. 1-Hate Trump, which really means hate Americans. 2-Get votes by any means possible, legal or otherwise, to further their control. 3-Strip away the law of the land by stifling the 1st , 2nd and 4th Amendment rights of citizens while they abuse and over step their powers under the 10th Amendment. They have control of the education system, the entertainment system, much of the judicial system and especially the Media. The Media, this cartel of Leftists, is the propaganda wing of the democrat party and are the greatest abusers of the 1st Amendment in our Country.
This socialist disease sweeping across America is the disease Americans need be most concerned of because it could well be the death of our Country. The upcoming elections in November are going to determine for a long time if we retain our freedom and values or if we head down the destructive one-way road to communism. Think hard on it.
TITFF Vice President
