With Covid going on, a 100 year winter storm hitting Texas, a man with dementia in the White House & the Tex/Mex border wide open for illegals, it's been difficult for Texans to keep up with everything happening in the 87 Texas Legislator. There are a lot of exciting thing happening at the capitol though. Most Texans are aware that Republicans have a state wide government trifecta in Texas. A trifecta exists when one political party simultaneously holds the governors office and majorities in both state legislative chambers. Republicans hold 18 seats in the Texas Senate and 83 seats in the Texas House of Representatives. This means bills that are important to conservative Texans have a good chance at being passed and becoming law. On the list of priorities this year is Constitutional Carry bill (SB540), the Monument Protection Act (SB1416 & HB2571), and the Pro Life bill (HB1515). There are a lot more bills listed on the priority list, but many Texans haven't even read the bills listed above. That's where the Texas Topic Townhall comes in. This Is Texas Freedom Force is joining up with Open Carry Texas & Texas Values to discuss these bills, how you can help & answer your questions concerning the bills at the Texas Topic Townhall to held in Spring, Texas. Here's how it will work. Each of the 3 organizations (TITFF, OCT & TV) will send 3 representatives from their organization to sit on the panel table. There they will give a opening statement about their fight to pass their specific bill/bills, what's in the bill/bills, and how you can help ensure these bill/bills are passed into law. The representatives from each Nonprofit organization are as follows.... Open Carry Texas will have the following reps on the panel... (1) OCT Founder & President CJ Grisham (2) OCT Vice President David Amad (3) OCT Legislative Director Richard Briscoe This Is Texas Freedom Force will have the following reps on the panel (1) TITFF Founder & President Brandon Burkhart (2) TITFF Houston Outreach Director Randy Beale (3) TITFF San Antonio Outreach Director Ramon Garza Texas Value will have the following reps on the panel (1) TBA, Texas Values has failed to let us know which reps they will be sending to sit on the panel. We apologize for the inconvenience, we have reached out to Texas Values on several occasions and they hadn't confirmed which reps they will be sending. All we know is that they will be in attendance, this has been confirmed on numerous occasions. TOPICS COVERED BY EACH ORGANIZATION OCT- Constitutional Carry & pro 2A bills. TITFF- Monument Protection Act, and Monument Protection Bill. TV- Pro Life Bills Once the organization's reps have given their opening statement, discussed the bill & made their case on why you should support the bill, the floor will be opened up to attendees to ask questions. The audience members with a question will form a line behind the audience's microphone and one by one be able to ask the panel your question. The entire Townhall will be moderated by Texas's very own talk radio personality Doc Greene from The Amazing Doc Greene Show, heard on Right Side of The Mic/Raging Elephants Radio. Doc Greene will help the audience make sure their questions will be answered and that the question is directed towards the organization working on that topics bill. This is a great opportunity to learn about these bills or just catch up to speed on what is going on with the bill. After the Texas Topic Townhall is over, you can visit each organizations booth in the back of the auditorium. There they will have info to pass out about the bills they support, info on their organization, and T-shirts and gear you can purchase from the organization. The Texas Topic Townhall starts at 2pm and ends at 4:30pm. Organizations and their personnel can show up at 1pm to help them set up between 1pm-2pm, and they will be able to stay till 5pm to break down their equipment. Security will be provided by TITFF's Enforcement Team to ensure we don't have any trolls or troublemakers try to attend. The entire townhall will be video taped and posted to the public at a later time. This Is Texas Freedom Force opens a Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. It's been on the minds of TITFF Board of Directors for quite some time, we needed a Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. Since the founding of TITFF we have traveled to the DFW area several times. We worked on the Robert E Lee w/Confederate Rider Monument, we worked on the Confederate War Memorial in Pioneer Park, heck TITFF has traveled to Dallas numerous times just to testify at City Hall in front of the City Council. Not only that but we have quite a bit of members up in that area, so naturally we needed someone to lead the chapter and help be the eyes and ears for that area. The problem we faced was finding someone who really has their heart in the cause to protect Texas history, loyal to TITFF, not afraid of long hours & hard work, not afraid to travel when needed, someone who has been around a while and is active, and last but not least posses leadership qualities. It's not a easy job to run a TITFF chapter, nor is it easy to find someone that posses all of these qualities, but we think we found the right man for the job. In February 2021, the TITFF Board of Directors started to notice a TITFF Member named Ben. He conducts himself professionally, he shows up to events, hes a go getter, when given a task to do he executes it without flaws, and he goes above and beyond what is asked of him. After much deliberation by our Board of Directors, they agreed upon the decision to bring Ben on as the TITFF DFW Coordinator. Ben will be leading and growing the DFW chapter. Of course the well established TITFF San Antonio, Houston & Yorktown chapters will back the DFW chapter up, but by having a DFW chapter we now have eyes and ears in that area alerting us to any nonsense the city, county or state tries to pull in the DFW area. Not only that but our response time to that area will be a lot faster. So congrats Ben! We look forward to seeing the DFW chapter grow and hearing your reports/input. Texas History is important to us, as more Texans join TITFF, the more Texas History we are able to save from the Cancel Culture.
