Many conservatives used to assume that if we could get more Republicans elected, then the God-honoring, pro-constitution, pro-family, pro-life, fiscally responsible, conservative, pro-Texas values for which the Republican Party stands for, would then become the guidelines under which those Republican-elected officials would govern. Initially, we were so happy to get a Republican elected, we did not even pay close attention to their actions once in office, but it matters what they do, not what label they use when running. We have today, a group of individuals who continue to masquerade as something that they most definitely are not and, in all likelihood, really never have been. They are men and women, past and present, who have continued to cast themselves as being ardent defenders of our Constitution and Texas values, as written, and have vowed to fight for all the freedoms it guarantees to the people of Texas, if we agree to vote for them. But sad reality is that these very people are nothing but sinister infiltrators working for the other side. Their mission is to get themselves elected so they can then assist in creating a facade of bipartisanship regarding the ongoing effort to flip Texas blue. Of course, I'm talking about RINOs (Republican In Name Only). With the rare, and I mean rare, exceptions of Manchin and Sinema, democrats never really go against the party line. It is a generational event when they do. Republicans, on the other hand, can always be counted on to have just enough aisle crossers to ensure that no conservative legislation ever passes. But most telling, however, is the fact that the Texas House and the Texas Senate did not pass the majority of the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) priority bills, including monument protection which 97.3% of all conservative Texans voted for, despite the fact that Republicans controlled the House, the Senate, the Governor seat & the LT Governor seat. Despite the fact that Republicans have controlled all this for the last 3 legislative sessions, monument protection hasn't been passed. Houston, we have a problem! Many decent, well meaning, intelligent, educated people, hold various invalid, or harmful, or irrational beliefs. They often vote for candidates whose behavior in office is inconsistent with their own views. Why? It isn't that people are stupid, or uneducated, or mean, or corrupt. Most ordinary people not in politics, are decent, and intelligent enough so that, if reasonably informed, they are likely to arrive at valid conclusions with respect to public affairs. But, in practice, a majority of people seem unable to act intelligently in the realm of politics, even when their goals are sensible and benign. It is quite common to find intelligent, honest, well-intentioned people disagreeing with one another on their election day choices. Since they can't all be right, it follows that many good people vote for the wrong candidate. One fundamental problem is that, in the area of human relations, there are no precise, objective, means for determining what is the "best" course of action. This is very different from the fields of science and technology, where there are well established, effective, methods and traditions for evaluating ideas. These work very well, tho there are rare cases where errors remain undetected for considerable periods of time. The field where filtering out errors is most effective is mathematics, where there are precise methods for determining the validity of assertions. (There are, however, mathematical problems with no known solutions.) That does not mean that there is no such thing as right or wrong with respect to morality. Over the ages, philosophers have clearly established, for example, that, with minimal exceptions, truth telling is important in human relations. It is obviously essential for progress in science and technology. There is wide agreement about the importance of certain kinds of behavior in promoting amicable relations among people. Dishonesty, selfishness, cruelty, greed, are generally understood to be incompatible with amicable relations among people. While most people are generally decent, there are, unfortunately, some nasty people around, including some who are cruel, greedy, selfish, dishonest. Sadly, a disproportionately large number of politicians are power hungry, greedy, dishonest, and often gutless. Another basic problem is a lack of high quality, publicly available information about, and intelligent public discussions of, controversial issues. The most common sources of information on current events and politics are TV and, to a lesser extent, print media. Both are almost aways badly biased, mainly serving the interests of the very small, wealthy minority who control them. There are few, if any, intellectually honest commentators on TV. The print media is just as bad. On the internet there are a few decent commentators and sources of information (along with a ton of nonsense). So most people are ill informed, and insufficiently exposed to sensible arguments in the realm of politics. "But there is social media out there to get them good information" you might say. The sad truth is many don't find solid organizations to get them the truth, it's like a needle in a hay stack, so they take the bad advise from fly by night organizations or pay to play organizations who are really just an extension of the establishment/rino party or worse the candidate themselves (so you are getting info the establishment or the candidate wants you to see.). The difficulty in getting decent people elected is further exacerbated by 2 characteristics of our election system. One is the increasingly dominant role of money. Without access to large sums of money, victory in any meaningful election, is seldom achievable. This is one of the ways in which the establishment exert grossly disproportionate influence. The second problem with our system is the widespread use of sophisticated voting machines, i.e., e-voting. As compared with reasonably well run elections in which votes are manually cast on paper and tabulated manually, e-voting is subject both to failures due to error and machine malfunction, and, even more important, to sophisticated fraud that may be almost impossible to detect. Perhaps when the deterioration of the lifestyles of enough Americans exceeds some critical point, enough people will be jolted into rethinking their political views, recognize what happened, and act to turn things around. We can only hope that this process begins before irreparable damage has been done to Texas, our values and our beliefs. Another issue we have is in the grassroots, sort of. Have you ever noticed that the last month or 2 of the primaries that everyone creates a new political group or starts giving their opinion on which candidate they support and attacking those they don't support? This was clear as day in the 2022 Texas Primaries for the race for Governor, if you were paying attention. If you want to influence others, make sure you have done your homework first, otherwise you are leading others astray. The establishment is the guiltiest on this and the proof is in the pudding. At the end of the primaries Abbott received 66.4% of the vote, while Allen West (12.3%), Don Huffines (12%), and Chad Prather (3.8%) only gathered 28.1% of the vote. This came after Greg Abbott's approval rating was lower than ever, rightfully so too. Abbott unconstitutionally shut down the state for covid, put hundreds of thousands of Texans out of a job. On top of that he hasn't touched property taxes since he took office, he failed to get 3/4ths of the RPT priority bills passed, and so much more. Yet, if you looked at the MSM or online news stations, all you saw was Abbott vs O'Rourke, no mention of the other candidates. Then on social media, you had lost souls praising Abbott, making excuses for his misdeeds, and creating groups on social media trying to influence Texans to support him. Although the other candidates didn't sling mud or attack each other, you could see it on a daily basis coming from their supporters on Twitter, Facebook, Getter, and other social media platforms. Social media groups popped up almost daily to not have a legit debate/conversation about the facts where each candidate stood, it was just outlandish attacks on what they proceeded to be their opponent. Let us add 1 thing here, it's absolutely acceptable to call out the facts and put them on display for others to see, but it's not ok to make things up, lie, or put out false info just because you have chosen a candidate and you want others to follow your lead. How could these groups influence anyone? Were these groups/people at the capitol fighting for monument protection, election integrity, border security, lower taxes, ban CRT, stop the mutilation of children, or banning abortion? Were they blowing up emails of Senators, State Reps, the Governor or LT Governor? Were they in the streets hosting rallies and speaking to groups about their cause? The sad truth is the majority were not. A problem the grassroots has is those who say "I did my part, I voted, I'm a patriot." So you are a patriot because you did the bare minimum to help Texas by voting? Everyone should have voted! This is one of the most sacred rights you have, but it doesn't make you a patriot. Definition of a Patriot - a person who vigorously supports their country & is prepared to defend it against enemies. Also patriots love their country but not the government that controls it. Patriotism means supporting and being responsible for your family, your community and all levels of government with your willingness to work, to volunteer. It means if you are in the majority, you protect the rights of the minority. It means respecting your neighbor’s opinion, but not letting yourself be run over by it. It means thinking for yourself, but also seriously working to educate yourself on the facts. To be patriotic, you need to learn and understand where the biases in information you receive are coming from. Is the information objective, or captured by special interests on the left or right, or in between? It means busting your hump 24/7 365 to ensure that the future of Texas & America are on the right track, and doing everything in your power to stop it if it goes off track. We have allowed the word Patriot to be watered down to fit those who do next to nothing for Texas and America. I voted, I fly a Texas or American flag, I have a pro-gun bumper sticker on my vehicle, I follow patriot groups, these are the excuses for being a patriot by the lazy. There's always a million and one excuses why you couldn't attend a rally, why you couldn't go to the capitol to fight for what you believe in, why you couldn't join a established organization that believes like you and puts in work, or do anything except sit on social media complaining and saying, "Someone should do something about that." Get off your butt and go do something! No one is going to fight your battle for you! Some are physically unable to do the ground work, but you can still donate, you can write emails to lawmakers, you can share post from groups who are doing the ground work, there's always a way to help. No one has an excuse to do nothing but vote. Do everything in your power to further your cause and help protect Texas and America, then and only then will you feel like a patriot. We have talked about the reason why people keep backing RINOs, about some of the issues we have in the grassroots, but now we want to give you an example of the grassroots not engaged in fighting the RINOs.
How many of you know there is a runoff in the Texas Land Commissioner race? There is! Two candidates have pushed through the primaries and now they are in a race that will dramatically affect our Texas History. The first candidate is an establishment Rino, Dawn Buckingham, the second is a tried and tested grassroots candidate who has been in the trenches, Dr. Tim Westley. Why do you consider Dawn Buckingham a Rino? There are many reasons. First, we know for a fact that the establishment tapped Buckingham to resign her position as a senator, take a demotion, and run for Texas Land Commissioner. There is speculation on the why, but we believe she was tapped to go in and further the plans of George P Bush when it comes to reimagining the Alamo. For those who don't remember, This Is Texas Freedom Force (TITFF) fought George P Bush and the city of San Antonio for 4 years trying to stop them from removing/moving the Alamo Cenotaph and now we are engaged in stopping the rewriting of our history at the Alamo (ie reimagine the Alamo plan). The second reason, look who is backing Buckingham. You have 1 former candidate for Texas Land Commissioner, Victor Avila, who endorsed George P Bush for Texas AG, and he took campaign funds from George P Bush and bragged about it, he has endorsed Dawn Buckingham. You also have another candidate that attacked & called Buckingham a Rino throughout the entire primaries, Weston Martinez, then a few days after the primaries he endorsed Buckingham for Texas Land Commissioner. See the Rino pattern yet? Next, when Dawn Buckingham was asked to support Rep. Kyle Biedermann's Alamo bill, that would preserve the Alamo and keep the focus on the 1836 Battle of the Alamo, Buckingham turned Biedermann down 3 times to sign onto the bill and support it. Then there's a statement put out by Buckingham which said she was the one that saved the Alamo Cenotaph with her legal letter, this was a lie. TITFF fought for 4 years to save the Cenotaph, we attended hundreds of meetings for the Alamo Trust, Alamo Advisory Committee, Alamo Roadshow, Historic Design and Review (HDRC), Texas Historical Commision (THC), San Antonio City Council (SACC), and in the Capitol on committee hearings. Not once did Dawn Buckingham show her face to stand alongside Texans in these meetings. She was missing in action (MIA). Last she claimed to pass the only bill that protects monuments across Texas from the cancel culture. She may have passed a bill, but it was a do-nothing bill, even the THC said the bill does nothing. You can also take in consideration that 3 monuments have been removed by the cancel culture, 300 historical bricks with the names of US veterans & Confederate veterans were removed, and now a 4th monument is under threat of removal, all since her bill became law. A do-nothing bill! Now you can see why we call her an establishment Rino, because the facts support that. Dr. Tim Westley is the exact opposite of Buckingham. Dr. Westley has been in the trenches with the grassroots fighting for years. TITFF met Dr. Westley during our fight to save the Alamo Cenotaph, he was testifying at a HDRC meeting. TITFF became friends with him, and he has helped us with our fight to save Texas History ever since. Dr Westley has been a headliner speaker at TITFF rallies and meetings for years. If you haven't heard him speak, check out our YouTube channel and there are numerous of videos of his speeches. Dr Westley was also appointed to be the RTP's Historian by Allen West and reappointed by Matt Rinaldi. Not only has Dr Westley written numerous articles on Texas History, he also wrote a book titled "The Republican Party & the Journey Blackwards." This book talks about the history of the Republican Party in Texas. He's authored several other books like "Motivation-Inspiration 365" & many more. Once Dr. Westley became the RPT's Historian for Texas, he played a huge role helping TITFF push our monument protection bill in the 87th Legislature. Even during covid Dr. Westley would join others like Allen West and Don Huffines at the Alamo speaking at TITFF rallies, maskless. I can honestly say the man doesn't have a dishonest bone in his body and that is rare, extremely rare for us to say, but he earned it. If you don't believe Dr. Westley is grassroots by all this, the next sentence will get you. On May 30, 2020 when TITFF stood armed in front of the Alamo to defend the Alamo against 5,000 BLM rioters/looters, it was Dr. Westley who stood with us. Do you know any other candidates that would do that or better yet have done that? Yeah, we don't either. Dr. Westley is truly part of We The People and he has proven that 10 fold. So when the fate of the Alamo is at stake, when the establishment and the liberals are trying to rewrite history at the Alamo, who do you want controlling the Alamo? A candidate that never showed her face for 4 years during the fight to save the Alamo Cenotaph? Do you want a candidate that was missing during the fight to stop the reimagine the Alamo plan? Common sense says you want a candidate that has stood in the trenches fighting to save the Alamo Cenotaph, stop the reimagine the Alamo plan. Do you want a candidate that has lied about protecting our Texas History and done nothing to protect our history? Again common sense says you want a candidate that was shoulder to shoulder with TITFF and the grassroots fighting to protect our monuments. The choice seems very clear to us. We know the establishment Rino candidate is backed by lots of dirty money. We know the establishment candidate is backed by other Rino endorsements. So you'd think the grassroots would be doing everything in their power to see the right candidate gets the job, but the grassroots is silent right now, at least most are. Not sure if they are licking their wounds and rebuilding their egos from the primaries, or maybe they just aren't paying attention, but it's not too late to right the ship. We know the media is going to cover the establishment candidate every chance they get, so the grassroots should be blowing social media up with their grassroots candidate. We know big Rino donors are going to donate to the establishment candidate, so the grassroots needs to donate to the grassroots candidate. For every play in the establishments playbook, the grassroots should have a counter measure in their playbook. That is if the grassroots is serious about saving Texas. We began this article asking "Why do Texans keep electing Rinos?" The answer to that question, is because the grassroots is not giving it their all. The runoff elections are over in May, it would be a huge boost to Patriots everywhere to see the grassroots pull this off and put their candidates in office, send a message, but that is all up to how serious are you about saving Texas. #Rino #GrassRoots #TITFF #Patriots #DrTimWestley #TheAlamo #Monuments #ProtectTexasHistory #Runoff #GeneralLandOffice #GeneralLandCommissioner #GLO Pics of Dr Tim Westley working with TITFF over the last few years.

Great article! Lots of truth here! I was shocked at the number of votes cast for Abbott but I was even more shocked by the vitriol that I saw against conservative candidates and the fawning I saw for establishment candidates. And this was by people who claim to be conservative.

This story is the truth. I know for certain rinos are a problem in Texas and we have to stand up and vote them out of office. Wake up Texans
